The annual NEA-EC Convergence held in the Month of August as part of the commemoration of the National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM) and the Founding Anniversary of the National Electrification Administration (NEA). The celebration is to highlight the contribution of the electric cooperatives in rural electrification and countryside development. Notable during this event is the presentation of commendations and awards to electric cooperatives through LUMENS AWARDS from the NEA and AWARDS FROM THE WIRES from the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (PhilRECA) which acknowledges the outstanding records of performance in its operation and the unique and pioneering initiatives of the different electric cooperatives. Over-all, CAPELCO retained its recognition as TRIPLE A Cooperative in the Mega Large Category \u2013 the highest recognition that NEA confers to an EC.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
