The National Grid Corporation of the the Philippines (NGCP) and CAPELCO held a take-off meeting for the construction and installation of the 2 units of 5 MVAR capacitors designed to improve the power factor, increases voltage level on the load and reduces current flow through the transmission lines. The project is expected to be completed within the 360 day timeline and has a deadline of completion before October 8, 2025. The project is to be constructed at Barangay Lawaan Roxas City at the back of CAPELCO Lawaan Substation. This initiative is the proposed solution to address the voltage quality in Capiz.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The team from NGCP is headed by Lazaro Dela Cruz, Jr, NGCP District Manager for NGCP Visayas Operation and Maintenance as well as their contractor for the project. CAPELCO on the other hand was represented by Acting General Manager Engr. Edgar D. Diaz with TSD Manager Engr. Don D.
