“As all of you have completed the course, you are now ready to be deployed and employed and can now be considered officially as Warriors of Light that shall keep the steady flow of electricity to our households, our industry and commercial establishments and government buildings and facilities.”

“Your entry into the industry is a welcome development since our distribution utilities is in great need of young blood who is filled with so much energy and with a new and fresh outlook how we should deliver our services to our member-consumer-owners (MCOs). The biggest gap that we should address with you is experience because this is something that you will learn over time. What you can share with the older generation of lineworkers are the new technology, safety protocols and the fresh outlook you learned from the course. Combining these with the older lineworker’s experience, we are confident that this will develop synergy, vigorously push forward our mandate of rural electrification and ensure quality, reliability and sustainability of our respective electric cooperatives.”
