The Senate Committee on Energy chaired by Sen. Raffy Tulfo conducted a committee hearing to discuss the widespread power interruption that affected Western Visayas Region. Key stakeholders made their respective presentation on the events leading to the collapse of the grid and the Senators took turn in asking questions relevant to the issues at hand. The Committee Hearing seems to point to the inability of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines to manage the grid properly that led to its collapse resulting to widespread power interruption in the region.
