The continuing Information Education and Communication (IEC) campaign being conducted by Board President Engr. Salvador A. Asis has zeroed in on the concerns of the barangays and have produced concrete proof that priorities in the previous round of barangay visitation was acted upon by CAPELCO. As new concerns are being put forward, the commitment to address them remained unwavering on the part of CAPELCO. Board President Asis, as their chosen representatives to the policy-making body of CAPELCO, was able to articulate concrete plans of CAPELCO to address recurring problems and assured barangay officials that, as long as there are no problems in other components of energy generation and transmission, CAPELCO will ensure that power will reach its member-consumer-owners (MCOs).
As usual, the engagement was also able to answer basic queries about CAPELCOโs programs, procedures, services and the root cause of the widespread power interruption in the first week of January 2024.
