ECAR VI MEETING WITH ERC CHAIRPERSON

Atty. Monalisa C. Dimalanta, Chairperson and Chief Executive officer of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) met with representatives of electric cooperatives that are members of Electric Cooperative Association of Region VI (ECAR VI) to discuss the current power situation in Western Visayas. This dialogue was prompted by the recent spate of power interruptions that has adversely affected the region and ERC listened to the concerns of electric cooperatives on matters that involves protocols, impact on the rates, regulating policies and other actionable concerns that falls within the ambit of ERCโ€™s functions.
CAPELCO is represented by Board President Engr. Salvador A. Asis and Acting General Manager Engr. Edgar D. Diaz.
