The District Election Committee (DECOM) headed by its Chairman Jocelyn T. Luching proclaimed Gilbert G. Upod as the reelected Board of Director for the Municipality of Sigma and Dao in a simple ceremony held earlier today after the closing of voting in 4 precincts established for the elections. The proclamation was also confirmed by the BOD Committee on District Elections chaired by Board President Engr. Salvador A. Asis and composed of Director Moises Paligumba Jr and Director Mitchelle John Patricio as members.
Shortly after his proclamation, he took his oath of office administered by Hon. Nestor Gregorio of Barangay Guintas, Sigma completing the procedural requirement of his reelection.
