CAPELCO PARTICIPATED IN THE LDRRM COUNCIL MEETING

Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, City Hall, Roxas City
The Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Roxas City convened today to discuss important report, plans and other concerns that pertains to reducing and managing disasters in the City of Roxas. The Council meeting was presided by Vice Mayor Teresa H. Almalbis as its Vice Chairperson for and in behalf of its Chairman City Mayor Ronnie T. Dadivas.
The meeting tackled the 2023 Accomplishment, the status update on Emergency Operations Center (EOC), the proposed utilization of the LDRRM fund for 2024, the guidelines on the Gawad Kalasag Award and other matters. The Council also passed and adopted important resolutions relative to its Contingency plan, creation of camp management teams to manage the evacuation area for the victims of the fire incident at Barangay VII as well as the setting of its regular quarterly meeting.
CAPELCO was represented by Mr. Rey Cordenillo, MSD Supervisor and Mr. Garry Bernas, Maintenance Crew Foreman.
