A group for electrical and computer engineering students of Colegio dela Purisima Concepcion visited CAPELCO to conduct actual observation on its operation and to learn how an electric distribution utility operates. They appreciated having observed the actual operation of the sub station and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) where some operations of the substation are being remotely managed.
CAPELCO opens its door to students who may want to pursue career in the field of electrical and computer engineering where some of them undergoing on-the-job (OJT) were given opportunity for actual field experiences that further enhance their learning.
