6TH AGM MONTHLY MEETING

Acting General Manager Engr. Edgar D. Diaz conducted his customary monthly meeting with the CAPELCO personnel as a way to apprise them of the status of operation of CAPELCO. Noteworthy among them is the recent spike in the monthly billing rate brought about by the spiraling increase in generation charges. He announced that all other electric cooperatives (ECs) in Region VI are experiencing the same prompting Electric Cooperatives Association of Region VI (ECAR VI) to hold a joint press conference with the media in Western Visayas.
He also announced the energization of the 15 MVA Power transformer at Dao Substation which to a certain degree improved the voltage even in some remote areas. He also announced that CAPELCO engineers are continuously conducts monitoring to ensure that the standard voltage is met even in remote areas. Other important announcement is the upcoming 53rd Foundation Anniversary of CAPELCO on June 16, 2024.
The tradition of acknowledging and presenting some gifts to the June birthday celebrants was also made.
