NATIONAL LINEWORKERS APPRECIATION DAY

Selected lineworkers of CAPELCO participated in the celebration of the National Lineworkers Appreciation Day held virtually today to underscore their valuable and indispensable role in ensuring the continued availability of electricity in the country. The theme of the celebration is SUNDALO NG PAILAW: Maalab, Matibay, Magiting highlighting their passion, durability and heroism in facing all sorts of difficulties in the performance of their job. The lineworkers are the heroes who brave stormy weather, scorching heat and unholy working hours making sure that households are lighted and industries are powered up.
More than the simple token and the certificates of appreciation conferred to them today, our respect, admiration and gratitude to each of them remained and will continue to be so appreciating their courage, diligence and their sacrifices to perform their job oftentimes associated with danger and risks to their safety, well-being and their lives.
We invite and request everyone to join us in a snappy salute to all Lineworkers in the country.
