As CAPELCO builds on the initial success of the implementation of the Socialized Energization of Marginalized Applicants (SEMA) for Electric Service Connection, it conducted a series of Pre-membership Orientation Seminar (PMOS) for the applicants at Barangay Cabugao and Milibili. It’s a loan program where the cost of the installation and energization shall be added to their monthly bills. The process of application was also simplified to make it more convenient and affordable for every program applicant and to add more to their convenience, the PMOS is conducted onsite.
Punong Barangays Oscar Aponesto of Cabugao and Iluminado Corros of Dinginan expressed their appreciation for the program as a way to help those who cannot afford the cost of having electricity installed in their respective homes. BOD President Engr. Salvador A. Asis and BOD District VIII-B Director Engr. Edmund D. Beluso also expressed their gratitude for the support of the barangays and for appreciating the noble intention of the program. Both expressed that the intention of the program is to make electrical services accessible, affordable and safe which was the inspiration why SEMA was implemented. MSD Supervisor Mr. Rey T. Cordenillo handled the mechanics and procedure of the program implementation.
