The 2025 CAPELCO TRI- Media Fellowship kicked off with a simple ceremony during the reinforced basketball game at the Capiz Gymnasium. This year’s event marked the 18th year of partnership between CAPELCO and media organizations, which CAPELCO considers a ‘best practice.’
In his message, Engr. Edgar D. Diaz, Acting General Manager of CAPELCO, expressed his gratitude to all media practitioners in Capiz for being partners in disseminating information, issues, and news to the member consumer owners. He thanked them for their full support for CAPELCO’s activities and programs. Engr. Diaz also declares the opening of the tournament.
Engr. Renato G. Jison, OIC – ISD Manager delivered his speech welcoming all participating Media entities and thanked them for their cooperation to tri media activities.
Mr. Jessie L. Mendoza, Team Captain of Blue Team led the oath of sportsmanship.
This year’s basketball tournament is a reinforced game where 3 CAPELCO players were enjoined to each media team to create a stronger bond among them.

– Team Neon Green – BOMBO, STAR FM, CAP RYTHM & RADYO TODO
– Team White – X- FM, DYJJ & K5 New FM

The MEDIA NIGHT, which is the highlight of this year’s event, will be held on January 31 2025, where awards will be given to the winning teams.
