Engr. Jovencio A. Villagracia was officially proclaimed as the elected Director for District IV (Ivisan and Sapian) after garnering 177 votes, with 114 from Ivisan and 63 from Sapian. The proclamation was made by Oscar V. Acuyong, Chairman of the District Elections Committee, and confirmed by the members of the Board of Directors Committee on District Elections, chaired by Engr. Salvador A. Asis.
Director Villagracia took his oath of office, administered by Hon. Nico A. Yap, Punong Barangay of Poblacion, Ivisan. The event was attended by fellow directors, including Engr. Edmund D. Beluso of District VIII-B (Roxas City South) and outgoing Director Maricar A. Ojera of District IV. Engr. Renato G. Jison, OIC-ISD Manager and Mr. Limwel Limjuco, PAO- Area Manager were also present to offer their congratulations.
In his acceptance speech, Director Villagracia expressed his gratitude to the member-consumer-owners (MCOs) of Ivisan and Sapian, as well as the principals and teachers who facilitated the election. He also thanked his fellow board members and the personnel of the Institutional Development Support Services Department (IDSSD).
With almost 43 years of service to CAPELCO, Director Villagracia is committed to serving the Member Consumer Owners by supporting policies that promote their welfare. His election as EC Director marks a new chapter in his dedicated service to the cooperative.
