CAPELCO Celebrates with Gratitude and Purpose

The Board, Management, Staff, and employees of Capiz Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAPELCO) gathered at the Capiz Gym, Villareal Stadium, to celebrate a significant milestone- the 54th Foundation Anniversary. As a tradition, the celebration began with a Holy Mass, officiated by Rev. Fr. Berman Ibañez and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Rey Villanoy, Parish Priests from the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish.

In his homily, Fr. Ibañez reflected on CAPELCO’s mission,

highlighting that it goes beyond just providing electricity to homes. He emphasized that CAPELCO’s commitment is built on three core pillars: Light of Service: Providing reliable, efficient, and accessible power services to its members. Light of Community: Fostering community development and promoting member well-being through various initiatives. Light of Christ: Embodying values of compassion, empathy, and service to others, prioritizing member needs and striving to make a positive impact.

These three aspects of reflect CAPELCO’s commitment to delivering exceptional service, building strong community relationships, and upholding values that guide its actions. As a cooperative, CAPELCO prioritizes the needs of its member-consumer owners, striving to make a positive impact in the community it serves.

Through the Thanksgiving Mass, CAPELCO renewed its commitment to its values, giving thanks for the accomplishments and blessings that have enriched its journey.
