CAPELCO Employees Spread Joy Through Feeding Program in Selected Barangays

Capiz Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAPELCO) employees recently conducted a Feeding Program in seven selected barangays across Capiz. The initiative, held on June 6, 2025, brought smiles to the faces of 1400 children, who were treated to nutritious meals and provided with school supplies.

The program was implemented through the collaborative efforts of the Dept. Offices and six CAPELCO Area Offices ,each focusing on a specific barangay. The participating barangays included:

Brgy. Yabton, Ivisan (Roxas City Area Office)

Brgy. Ongol Ilawod, Dumarao Capiz (Dao Area Office)

Brgy. Capagao, Panitan (Panitan Area Office)

Brgy. Monteflor, Pilar (Pres. Roxas Area Office)

Brgy. Concepcion, Dumalag (Dumalag Area Office)

Brgy. Dayhagon, Sigma (Mambusao Area Office)

Brgy. Tiza, Roxas City (CAPELCO Roxas City Office)

The event was filled with excitement, particularly in Brgy. Tiza, where the beloved palpable mascot Jolibee made a special appearance, adding to the festive atmosphere. CAPELCO employees also organized fun parlor games, which brought happiness to the young participants and prizes were awarded to those who showcased their talents in dancing.

The successful program was made possible through the coordination with the Barangay Councils of each participating barangay and Barangay Power Association ( BAPA) and with the support of the CAPELCO Board, Management, staff, and employees. This initiative highlights CAPELCO’s commitment to giving back to the community and nurturing the next generation.

Through this Feeding Program, CAPELCO continues its dedication to serving not only its member consumer owners but also the whole community for a brighter future of the children of Capiz.
