CAPELCO Received Multiple Awards at the 2025 NEA-PHILRECA Joint Awarding Ceremony Held at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City on August 9, 2025.

CAPELCO, one of the country’s premier triple-A electric cooperatives, has once again showcased its strong commitment to operational excellence and outstanding service delivery. CAPELCO has received prestigious awards at the 2025 Joint Awards Ceremonies for the NEA Lumens Awards and PHILRECA Awards from the Wires, held at the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod City.

Recognized for its exceptional performance in 2024, CAPELCO proudly brought home a total of eleven accolades—three major awards and distinctions from the National Electrification Administration (NEA) through its prestigious Lumens Awards, as well as eight awards and citations from the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association (PHILRECA) through its annual Awards from the Wires program.

These awards highlight CAPELCO’s commitment in the service of Capiz, emphasizing its dedication to innovation, operational efficiency, and the empowerment of member-consumers. The distinctions awarded are as follows:

2025 𝑁𝐸𝐴 𝐿𝑈𝑀𝐸𝑁𝑆 𝐴𝑊𝐴𝑅𝐷𝑆

𝐋𝐔𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐒 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐄𝐂 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐋𝐈𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐘 𝐅𝐔𝐍𝐃

For timely submission of complete documentary requirements in the liquidation of government subsidy funds, thereby ensuring compliance to good governance and sound fiscal management.

𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐓 𝐒𝐘𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐒 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃

For having attained a single-digit feeder loss, thereby contributing to the collective commitment of NEA and ECs to further improve service efficiency and reduce power rates.

𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂 𝐂𝐎𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃

For attaining “AAA” rating in year 2024 overall performance assessment reflecting high-level compliance with operational standards and key performance parameters.

2025 𝑃𝐻𝐼𝐿𝑅𝐸𝐶𝐴 𝐴𝑊𝐴𝑅𝐷𝑆 𝐹𝑅𝑂𝑀 𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝑊𝐼𝑅𝐸𝑆

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃

For committing itself to timely and efficient settlement of its annual dues as a member EC of PHILRECA. Its determination to settle its financial obligations as a member EC has contributed to PHILRECA’s outstanding collection efficiency.

𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃

For attaining a commendable collection efficiency despite constraints and restrictions. This achievement was reached with determination, perseverance, and diligence, and resulted to the financial stability and sustainability of the electric cooperative.

For its exceptional efforts in supporting initiatives that uplift the electric cooperative sector and protect the interests of the communities it serves. Guided by a deep sense of mission and solidarity, CAPELCO stood as a steadfast pillar during crucial undertakings that required unity, advocacy, and proactive participation, proving that service extends beyond the delivery of electricity.

For a merit performance in the pursuit of total electrification and sustainable rural development during the extraordinary times notwithstanding all difficulties confronting the rural electrification movement. With determination, perseverance, and diligence, the Electric Cooperative was able to surpass challenges and excellently attained their goals for the member-consumer-owners.

For fulfilling all its financial obligations and for settling all payments for webinars, trainings, and other events and services of PHILRECA.

For achieving operation and service without incurring occupational casualties and for observing and strictly implementing effective safety measures in its operations.
