BILLING RATE FOR DECEMBER 2025

Our CAPELCO, is a non-stock, non-profit, and service oriented distribution utility and cooperative of our electricity consumers here in the Province of Capiz, and the price of our electricity is based only on the market price and we do not have direct control over it.
Did you know that with the ₱13.3940 per kWh rate this December, only ₱1,9013 will remain in CAPELCO? If the difference is ₱12,0387 per kWh we collect and pay for the following.
1. First, the ₱7,21467 is paid as Generation Charges to our power suppliers, this is the price of the electricity we generated and used. Subong we have five power suppliers, we have GCGI, PEDC, ESCI, IEMOP-WESM, FDC-MPC, where PEDC has an increase in the price of electricity and increase in the total consumption of all the suppliers including ESCI. Subong December has started for us. Contract, where it resulted in the ₱9 Million increase in the total payment of our power suppliers.
2. The ₱1,6583 naman aton gina pay as Transmission Charges sa NGCP, considering the cost of using high voltage transmission grid to bring electricity from generators sang power suppliers to substations sang aton cooperative. The unfortunate month of December, may pagnubo ini sang ₱1 Million.
3. ₱1,4159 was remitted as Taxes – including taxes and other bills implemented by the government and as Subsidy Charges – including the necessary payments both lifeline and subsidies of senior citizens implemented by the government.
5. ₱1,2038 is allocated for System Loss Charge – the cost of the played electricity due to technical and non-technical games.
6. As of now, CAPELCO will only keep ₱1,9013 per month as Distribution, Supply & Metering Charges, RFSC and O/U- and they have not exchanged for years. This includes the cost of development, construction, operation and maintenance of our system and reading costs, operation and maintenance electricity metering facilities and cash appliance equipment, as well as other costs entitle to service delivery.
