CAPELCO PARTICIPATED IN THE NEA ANNIVERSARY KICK-OFF CEREMONIES

CAPELCO Officers and Employees, virtually joined the National Electrification Administration (NEA) and the rest of electric cooperatives and allied organizations, in the kick off ceremonies of the celebration of NEAs 55th Anniversary. The event underscore NEAs contribution in the electrification of the various places of the country and its consequential impact into the socio-economic and political development of the country.
NEA Administrator Antonio Mariano Almeda emphasized the role of electric cooperatives and their contribution to NEA enabling it to achieve its mandate for rural electrification and countryside development. CAPELCO has implemented NEA programs such as Barangay Line Enhancement Program (BLEP) and the Sitio Electrification Program (SEP) aimed at energizing the countryside and interior areas of the country.
CAPELCO also lined-up its own version of celebrating the Month of August as the National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM)
