CAPELCO 54th Foundation Anniversary Celebration: Service Satisfaction, Rooted in History and Beyond

The Capiz Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CAPELCO) recently celebrated its 54th Foundation Anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its history. The celebration, which followed a Thanksgiving Mass, featured a program highlighting the cooperative’s achievements and milestones.

Acting General Manager Engr. Edgar D. Diaz delivered a welcome message, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving CAPELCO’s mission. He acknowledged the efforts of all employees and expressed gratitude for their hard work.

Dir. Engr. Salvador A. Asis, Board President, also shared his thoughts on CAPELCO’s progress, noting significant improvements in facilities, operations, and values.

Former CAPELCO Director Dante B. Bermejo was invited as a guest speaker, sharing his experiences and insights during his tenure on the board. His message highlighted the cooperative’s growth and development over the years.

The highlight of the program was the giving of Certificates of Loyalty to employees who have reached significant milestones in their service, including 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years.

The awardees received certificates and cash awards in recognition of their dedication and hard work.

Mrs. Delfa P. Jison, Human Resource Section Head, delivered a heartfelt message as a response from the awardees, expressing gratitude for the opportunities and blessings CAPELCO has brought to their families.

The celebration featured exciting dance performances, including dance showdowns, community dance and entertainment provided by the CAPELCO Powerband.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Dir. Emmanuel Oquendo, Board Vice President, who commended the employees for their hard work and dedication.The 54th Foundation Anniversary celebration was a joyous occasion, showcasing CAPELCO’s strong commitment to its employees and its member consumer owners.
