CAPELCO Electrification Day Celebration 2025
On August 30, 2025, Saturday, at Capiz Gym Villareal Stadium, Roxas City, CAPELCO hosted the vibrant celebration of Electrification Day 2025. The event was part of the National Electrification Awareness Month 2025 (NEAM) Celebration and was attended by the Board of Directors, Management, Staff and employees.
Board President Engr. Salvador A. Asis warmly welcomed CAPELCO participants, emphasizing that the event aimed to foster camaraderie and strengthen bonds among employees. Director Buddy expressed his sincere gratitude to the employees for their invaluable contributions to CAPELCO’s endeavors, highlighting their crucial role in achieving the cooperative’s goals.
Acting General Manager Engr. Edgar Diaz added excitement to the event by announcing that employees would receive incentives for achieving the prestigious Triple A (AAA) Category for CAPELCO’s outstanding operational performance for the year 2024. This remarkable feat was an evidence to the cooperative’s hard work and dedication, as recognized by the National Electrification Administration (NEA).
Engr. Diaz encouraged everyone to unwind and recharge through sports activities and parlor games, which all employees were wished to participate in and enjoy. The morning kicked off with an energetic Zumba Dance session, getting everyone pumped up and ready for the various games that followed.
This celebration not only recognized the employees’ hard work but also provided a much-needed break, allowing them to relax and bond with their colleagues.
