CAPELCO STRENGTHENS TIES WITH IVISAN BARANGAY LEADERS

Dir. Engr. Jovencio Villagracia, representing District IV (Ivisan & Sapian), addressed the Liga ng mga Barangay โ€“ Municipality of Ivisan on October 3, 2025, to share key updates on CAPELCOโ€™s operations and programs.
Joining him were Mr. Limwel Limjuco, Area Manager of the Roxas City Area Office, and Mr. Ken Lean Amoroso. Mr. Limjuco discussed various bill payment options, including online platforms, Bayad Centers, and accredited banks. He also explained CAPELCOโ€™s complaint handling system and the support role of Barangay Power Associations (BAPA).
Mr. Amoroso spoke on technical services, providing insights into maintaining power quality and reliability.
Dir. Villagracia announced that CAPELCO is currently processing the renewal of its franchise, and called on barangay leaders to extend their full support. He also highlighted the SEMA Program (Socialized Energization for Marginalized Applicants), now in its fourth year, which allows marginalized applicants to pay connection fees in staggered terms along with their monthly bills.
An open dialogue followed, where barangay officials voiced concerns and pledged continued cooperation. The session reaffirmed CAPELCOโ€™s commitment to transparency, service, and strong community partnerships.
